Besides Dadaism, I've seldom seen "visual poetry" that actually creates a dynamic, effective embroidery of words and images as this one does. Rachel Blau DuPlessis's work is a pristine accomplishment of what can be done in the usually failed attempts at creating a fusion between poetic and visual discourses.

Orlando, Thank you so much for this spot-on comment, in my humble opinion [haha] and for commenting on our Diaphanous Press facebook page. It's lovely to have intelligent, thoughtful, expressive readers. If you are a literary or visual artist as I am led to believe, please submit your work in 2018. All my best. And thank you again for visiting our journal and Rachel's handkerchief collage selections of visual poetry/collage.

Thank you so much, Orlando--for visiting with us in our Fall 2017 issue. I look forward to reading you in 2018 for our one issue-- DIAPHANOUS will be annual going forward. I'm thinking the 2018 issue will come out end of August / early September, but that is dependent, as always, on old and new Diaphanous Angels.

Your words are welcome…
